EMT's in cities across America answer the calls for help from their communities. In Austin, Texas, responders run point in a massive multiple car collision and need to triage more victims than can fit into their ambulance. A combative addict and an overdose gone wrong offer tough challenges in Yonkers, New York, while in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, southern charm is revealed to have its own healing effects.
